    We tend to use lug with small hooks on a running ledger with about 3ft (1m) trace. If the mackies show then I put some day glow feathers on (3max) for him.

    My other reel was an Abu 5500c late 60's multi, it still works fine even today. Used to wash and oil it after each trip.

    I had an Intrepic Pirate reel to go on my 464, in those days fish were plenty. Used fresh lug (blow) and peelers.
